I am a stained glass artist and use this product to hold my pieces in place as I grind and then foil each one. It holds the pieces in place and allows a better fit.
1 Star I wanted Fun-Tak, they sent me Blue-Stic
Fun-tak is being advertised and they even have a picture of it, but this is not what is being sold. I wanted Fun-tak. I could have purchased blue-stik locally for $2, but instead purchased what I assumed was fun-tak here plus $7.50 for shipping. I questioned Joanne fabrics about it (the people selling it) and they said that Amazon has it wrong. I’m dissapointed, but not enough to try to get any money back!
5 Stars The Best Reusable Adhesive I Have Ever Used
The DAP Fun Tack not the DAP BlueStik is the best I have ever used. It retains it’s flexibility and will hold heavy objects. Some say it leaves a stain but if that’s the case just put some scotch tape or laminate part of the other side. I have tried all of the Reusable Adhesives and Fun Tak is the very best. In Mexico they had one just like Fun Tak called Plasti Tak, it must have had the some formula. I looked and looked to find one like it here in the United States and Fun Tak is head and shoulders above the rest and just like Plasti Tak. You will be sorry if you use another reusable adhesives.

P.D. Every adhesive probably has some draw back but I have found Fun Tack to be the best universal reusable adhesive, be it posters or relatively heavy object and still retains it’s flexibility
1 Star Dap Fun Tak
The adhesive product wasn’t sticky and would not hold paper objects up for more than 1-2 hours. When touching the Fun Tak, it would not stick to my fingers and just fall from my grasp. On my third email to the company, they finally answered my email by saying they would credit my account if I would send back the product in the package as received and in resaleable condition - otherwise, they could do nothing for me.
Whoever thought of having to save Fun Tak packages!! So - a word to the wise - Do NOT purchase this - it does not work and they will do nothing to help you.
4 Stars Works as advertised, but…
Works as advertised, but be very careful if you want to use it for anything that’s paper-based (posters, for example). What happens is that, over time, the fun-tak sort of… soaks into the paper. Without fail, you’ll eventually be left with ugly ’soak spots’ from where the fun-tak was applied. When left on long enough, these spots even soak entirely through the poster, making them visible on the FRONT side. Even at that stage, the fun-tak itself can still be removed and re-used, but there’s no way of removing those ’soak spots’ from the poster. In other words: permanent damage.
In addition to paper products, I would also be very cautious of wood-based products. Depending upon the grain and the finish, I would imagine that wood would eventually develop similar issues. Along those same lines, be very careful about the surface to which you’re applying this stuff (walls, ceilings, etc.). I have first-hand experience with fun-tak pulling paint and wallpaper off of various walls. From these experiences, I would say that fun-tak is best utilized when materials such as glass, porcelain, and metals are involved.

5 Stars we love this cupcake book
My husband and I love this cupcake book so much that we have bought it numerous time to give to our grown up children so that they can have the fun of making spectacularly whimsical cupcakes for their friends and children. The recipes for muffins and cakes are great. Every year wilton updates the creative aspects of a cake form and this one is just spectacular. The designs are doable by those with almost no coordination or cake decorating experience. The key is always to make your own frosting so it is thick enought to hold shapes, or add a LOT of powdered sugar to commercial frostings to thicken them. Anyway, there are literally 150 full color cupcakes. There are your hilarious farm animals, awesome swimmers for whom the cupcakes are inflatable innertubes, wedding cupcakes, floral, clowns, fruits, bunnies, seasonal and more. You will need to get some tips you may not normally have, but the ones you need are in the directions. I highly recommend the 24 cupcake stand Wilton makes for displaying your cupcakes. I use a 3 tiered dessert rack that is also a carousel that spins because I already have it for cakes. But there are some beautiful cupcakes that look awesome displayed on the top of any stemed goblet that has been turned upside down so the base become a litte table for the cupcake. The angel, penguin, and Christmas themes are just adorable, but there are sophisticate cupcakes too. If you buy the silicon cupcake holders you will be thrilled. Thoughful almost effortless fun for a loved ones special occassion.
4 Stars Typical Wilton adverbook
I was a little disappointed in this book when I first got it. Since all you see on the cover is some “clown” cupcakes using the silly-feet baking cups (which I also purchased) I was expecting more uses of the silly-feet (I counted five), but it really covers whimsical cupcakes of all sorts, many of which would be suitable to make with children (easy to make).
It’s really just an idea book and a catalog of Wilton products and what you can do with them. There is a helpful section called “The Perfect Cupcakes; How to bake, ice and decorate”, and there are about six pages of recipes. Most cupcake instructions are from 1/8 to 1/2 page long, right next to a big, clear picture.
After getting over the “it wasn’t what I expected” part of receiving this book, and seeing that my boyfriend seems rather enthusiastic about making really whimsical cupcakes and loves the silly-feet, I like this book more and more. Just don’t expect anything sophisticated looking in it OR that many silly-feet ideas. If you are familiar with the typical adverbook that Wilton puts out, you shouldn’t find any surprises here, and some of the recipes, which are a blend of from-a-mix and from-scratch, for the most part look very tempting.
There are six pages of really cute Halloween cupcakes, including a vampire in a coffin, and some skeletons/ghosts/tombstones.
